Sweet Memory at Gua Tempurung ^_^ (13/03/2012)

 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Assalamualaikum peeps ! We meet again today  Alhamdulillah :)   So, today in this blessed Friday , i wanna tell you a story about my adventure experience  at Gua Tempurung , Perak. Although this experience has gone almost 3 years ago,yet the memories still fresh in my mind until today. This is the first time i go for climbing and of course i feel very excited. The idea to go to this place was come from my teacher during Form 6 which is Mr Radha. When he saying out this plan , my friends and I were very excited and cannot wait to explore this cave . We went there on Tuesday ,13 March 2012. During holiday if i am not mistaken .

So this is a little information about Gua Tempurung for you ^_^
Shell cave is a cave in Gopeng, Perak, Malaysia. It is popular among spelunkers, or caving enthusiasts. About 3 km long, it is one of the longest caves in Peninsula Malaysia. Part of it has been developed as a show cave with electric lighting and walkways and there are a range of tours of different lengths and difficulty. A fine cave river, the river runs about 1.6 km passage through the hill. There  are three very large chambers and some spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
Located in Gopeng, about 24km south of the capital city of Ipoh in Perak, this limestone cave is one of the largest in Peninsular Malaysia. Although not as big as Cave Mulu and Niah Cave in Sarawak, beginners to caving exploration will be glad to know that this cave is easy to explore. The tunnel of the cave runs from the east to the west covering a distance of about 2km under the limestone hills known Mount as shells and Elephant Mountain. It is made up of five large domes and is believed to have existed since 8,000 BC, about 10,000 years ago. It comprises of five huge domes with cocunut cielings resembling shells. Each of these domes  has different calcium formations and marble there exist in differing temperatures and water levels. These caves are famous for its breathtaking gallery  of stalagmites, stalactites and other amazing rock formations that are superb speleological wonders, found only in this part of the world.
There are various tours into the caves being the main attraction here. These caves are located under the limestone hills and form tunnels that runs from east to west, nearly 1.9km in length. Visitors can experience these tours with specific requirements of prior preparation. Certain tours such as the River Adventure Tours require visitors to bring a change of clothes and shoes. Torch lights and safety helmets are available for rent.

So ,the entry charge for this cave is :- they  have four types of tour packages. Each trip is of a simple and draw attention to a very tough and challenging. Travel packages particulars are as follows: TRAVEL CATWALK (travel Dry On Platform)

Please wearing a proper attire for make sure you feel comfortable and easy to move.like sport attire and shoes. and the most important thing is you must bring a TORCHLIGHT coz the cave is very darkkkk #scaryy okayyy # Batmans are everywhere..hehehe just kidding :) But believe me , you will amaze with the beauty inside the cave , Its so amazing and beautiful. You can see many natural shape , design and carving there. Subhanallah :)

Site Visit 2015 -Malacca-Part 2 ^_^

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.. Assalamualaikum Hye lovelies ! Alhamdulillah ,we meet again today ^_^ Hows your day so far ? I hope everything run smoothly by Allah's wills. In shaa Allah ,, So,in this entry I will share more experiences  again in Malacca.
So ,this is Part 2 bebeh !
On the second day ,our journey began at 8.30 am. So everybody need to wake up early and prepare themselves quickly. We must fit and have enough energy as today we gonna do cycling . Interesting right ?
arrgghhhh i just can't wait ! cause i love cycling so much ^_^ Alhamdulillah , Sister Nelza managed to get the reasonable price for bicycle rent. Its only cost RM10 for one day for each bicycle. So cheap right :)

So tadaa..

Of course i choose the pink one because it is my favourite colour ever !
It also make me excited to do cycling..yeayy :)

My teamates and I have a long journey on that day as we need to go to many zones to finish up our survey.For example , we did survey at Jonker Street , Baba Nyonya Street ,Masjid Kampung Kling area ,A Famosa area and Taming Sari Tower area.

However , from my experience ,its quite difficult and dangerous for the cyclists to move around because of the road condition , which is not proper for cycling and bad traffic congestion due to narrow road at most places we went.

Even some of us feel uncomfortable and scared during cycling here.
But we must brave and confident in handling the situation , especially the bicycle to avoid accident.
Furthermore, only by cycling can make us easy to move from one zone to another zone.

After cycling around , we felt tired and we decided to take five for a while.
So we stopped by at the stalls in front of Stadhuys to buy drink and food cause we are really hungry !
Since i had very bad cough and flu during the site visit ,
i chose to drink coconut water to cool down my fever.
and alhamdulillah it helped :)

its so tasty ..onom..nom..nom..

One of the interesting places we went on that day was Kampung Morten.Sister Nelza ask us to gather there at the evening after we complete doing our survey.
For your information , Kampung Morten is the only Malay village in this historic city that still has its own identity as home design , home decorating and landscape mode.
This makes it so special and Kampung Morten able to attract local and foreign tourists.Visitors will have the opportunity to see all the rows of traditional houses are arranged in the form of the roofs , stairs and interior decoration. It seems to take visitors back to the days of the Malacca Sultanate.

Furthermore, Kampung Morten also receives the full attention of the Malacca and gazetted under Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage 1988 as a Traditional Malay village and tourist attraction.

The path that we need to use to go to Kampung Morten.Its quite challenging yet fun !

Villa Sentosa

  Villa Sentosa is also known as "The Living Museum". The house is renovated into a private museum and officially opened on Dec 11, 1991 Villa Sentosa is now managed by the heirs of that generation, Abdul Rahim Hashim, 58.

Villa Sentosa has a unique home design and assemble a wide range of historical materials such as traditional clothing, traditional musical instruments and antique furniture. In addition , the house owner will held cultural performances accompanied by singing and dancing flea dondang affection as efforts to promote Villa Sentosa. Presentations will be held once in every month. For visitors,they are not charged any fees and the family members are also willing to provide information to visitors who ask. They do not charge any fees, just enough for them to donate to the fund family to help  repair and upgrade Villa Sentosa. Villa Sentosa open to visitors every day from 9am to 6pm daily except Friday open at 2pm to 6pm. Its an interesting place to drop by right.So don't forget to get the experience explore this house if you have chance go to Kampung Morten.Or you will regret later :P So , i am done with my story about Malacca .:)  Alhamdulillah.. This is one of the best memories i ever had. its so amazing and i have so much fun here with my friends. and i hope i will get another chance to come here again next time. in shaa Allah ~ I very promote to you guys ,i you get a chance go to Malacca , please do so.
